Meet Bunni.
She is the best editor I know, and I am not just saying that because she is my sister. Drop in your footage, annotate the cut, leave the notes. She reads between the lines and does the work — in your voice, not hers.
A note from her brother
Look, I have been around. I dig through forgotten repos and weird corners of the internet for a living. I have seen every AI tool that promises to edit your videos for you. Most of them feel like talking to an answering machine.
Bunni is not that.
She is the kind of editor who notices that your trim point landed mid-word and quietly moves it to the pause. Who warms the grade on a clip and then tells you to watch the middle section because it came out really well. Who masks out a stranger in your shot and says "check the edge near the doorframe, came out sharp."
She reads between the lines of your annotations and executes the way you would have. Tells you what she changed. And when she got it wrong? She is not weird about it. You push back, she adjusts, you keep moving.
I am biased. She is my sister. But I have never seen anything else that works with you the way she does.
Direct her like an editor.
Annotate the frame. Leave the note. Point at the problem. She reads between the lines, does the work, and tells you what she changed. Refine in words after — same as any real editor.
Done. Here's what I changed:
- Masked + inpainted #1 — rebuilt ~40px where his shoulder hit the wall. Check the doorframe edge, came out sharp.
- Tightened 0:31–0:47 by pulling two cuts and nudging a trim to the natural pause.
- Left a hard cut at 0:42 — that jump felt intentional. Watch it first.
She is an editor, not a chatbot.
Bunni runs on every tool in VIX. Annotate the cut, leave the brief, point at what's broken — she handles the edit the way a real editor would. Different door from the Workflow Editor canvas, same toolbox underneath.
Cut, trim, tighten
Tell her to remove dead air, tighten the pacing, or cut a scene. She makes the edit and tells you exactly what she changed and why.
Effects and grades
Ask for a warmer grade, a color shift, a blur on a specific face. She applies it, shows you the result, and lets you push back if it's not right.
Remove, replace, repair
Point at something in your footage you don't want there. She masks it, paints it out, and reconstructs the background.
Captions and dubbing
Drop in a video and say 'caption this' or 'dub this into Spanish.' She handles transcription, translation, and rendering in one pass.
Multi-step edits from a few notes
Annotate a few moments across the timeline — Bunni chains the right tools, applies them in the right order, and shows you what she did. The Workflow Editor is for wiring; Bunni handles the editing.
Gets smarter over time
Every new tool that lands in VIX becomes something Bunni can use. Her creative range grows alongside the platform.
She edits in your voice.
Other AI editors
"I have applied a color correction adjustment to enhance the visual warmth of your footage. The edit has been completed successfully. Is there anything else I can help you with?"
Bunni
"Warmed the grade and pulled 2 seconds off the top. The dissolve I put at 0:42 though — that jump was definitely unintentional right? Because the smoothed version flows so much better. Watch it first."
Most AI assistants talk to you like customer service. Bunni talks to you like a real editor — picks up what you actually meant from the annotations, executes it the way you would have, and tells you what she changed. Brain rot, cinematics, whatever you're building — she serves your taste, not hers.
As much control as you want.
As little as you need.
One sentence and she runs with it. A detailed annotation on every frame and she nails the specifics. Same editor, same conversation. You decide how much direction to give.
"Remove the dead air and make it punchy."
One sentence. Bunni decides everything.
"Warm up the grade, caption it, and cut the first 3 seconds."
A few specifics. She fills in the gaps.
"Blur this face from 0:12 to 0:45, match the grade to this reference, and add a dissolve at every cut."
Precise direction. She executes exactly.
She is in beta. She is already better than most.
I have watched her grow up in this codebase. She is only going to get better, because every time a new tool lands in VIX, she learns to use it. The Bunni you meet today is the least capable version of her that will ever exist. And she is already pretty great.
